Malvern’s first residential glass tower and tallest building, One Como was conceived as a new icon to complement the existing rich architectural heritage of the area.
The dynamic curved silhouette is defined by two distinct materials, deliberately selected to respond to a unique context. Textured brickwork conveys solidity and grounds the building into the earthy textural laneway fabric at the base of the building. While to the upper storeys, the facade transitions to lightweight reflective glass as the building reaches uninterrupted sky views.
Juxtaposition of robust masonry against the delicate curved glazing present a striking composition which is both appropriate and iconic.
